About this Property

Africa Safari Lake Natron is a luxury safari lodge, offering access to the Northern Circuit national parks and reserves. The landscape here is of unprecedented raw beauty; a dramatic lava desert with a high alkaline lake in a depression created by the Rift Valley.

The grounds are spacious and offer a variety of accommodation options, from simple Safari tents to the ultimate in Glamping Luxe.

The air-conditioned Luxury Glamping accommodations are complete with raised wooden deck, living room and beautiful rustic wooden interior. Safari Comfort accommodations are spacious and comfortable, with exterior canvas walls, a concrete floor and a permanent bathroom.

The swimming pool, with sunbeds and parasols, is embedded in the surrounding landscape and offers a beautiful view of the neighbouring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still active, unique and intriguing volcano.

From the elevated restaurant with reception and bar, the view of the accommodation, the flamingo lake, the striding giraffes and galloping zebras and the volcano itself is indescribable.

The idyllic location close to the shores of the sometimes strikingly red open waters of the mineral-rich ‘soda’ lake sets the tone for the accommodation base.

SAFARI LUXURY GLAMPING

A canvas accommodation with all the needed luxury inside, and the sounds of the Lake Natron’s nature outside. The Safari Luxury Glamping Accommodation is available with different bed set-ups:

• 5 x a 75 m2 accommodation, equipped with a king-size bed and two bunk beds. Complete with air conditioning, a seating area, a kitchenette, a walk-in shower, a European toilet and a washbasin.
• 2 x a 83 m2 accommodation with a king-size bed and two single beds. An extra single bed can be placed on request. Complete with air conditioning, a seating area, a walk-in shower, a European toilet and a washbasin.
• 2 x a 53 m2 accommodation, equipped with a king-size bed. An extra single bed can be placed on request. Complete with air conditioning, a walk-in shower, a European toilet and a washbasin.

SAFARI COMFORT

Sleeping under a tent is always special. The feeling of being so close to nature gives an extra special dimension to your stay. The Safari Comfort Accommodation is a spacious accommodation of 60 m2 and is furnished with a king-size bed and a single bed. An extra single bed can be placed on request. A semi-private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a European toilet and a washbasin, a comfortable sitting area and plenty of cupboard space complete the room. Outside, a 10 m2 balcony with a view of the lake is at your disposal, equipped with chairs. There are 5 units available.

SAFARI TENT

Small but cozy, basic but effective, perfect and at low cost. The Safari tents are situated almost next to the pool, overviewing the whole property.

With 2 single beds inside and a small seating area outside, it’s the perfect accommodation for those who want to go back to basics.

CAMPSITE

Next to the Safari tents, we have a campsite available.

Set up your own tent, and enjoy the luxury of the camp’s facilities. Camping is fun because it is an experience. Not only are you involved with nature and wildlife, but you also leave behind the stresses and strains of your everyday life.
