About Jeep
- The vehicle’s passenger compartment has six comfortable seats, ensuring each guest has a window seat. Additionally, a seventh seat is available next to the driver.
- The vehicle’s passenger compartment has five comfortable seats, ensuring each guest has a window seat. Additionally, a six seat is available next to the driver.
- All our safari vehicles have power/charging points. 220 Volt electric sockets for battery chargers ensure you won’t miss capturing any special moments you will experience on your safari. Please bring travel adaptors to ensure they are suitable for your appliances/devices.
- All your vehicles are fitted with a safari mini-refrigerator powered by the car battery for keeping your drinks cold and refreshing.
- All our guides only drive their “dedicated” safari vehicle, which ensures optimal maintenance, handling, and care of our fleet. Additionally, it guarantees safe and secure driving because of their familiarity with the specific Toyota Land Cruiser.
- As there is limited space available in the luggage compartment, we ask all our guest to restrict their luggage to 15 kg in weight. Luggage that won’t be needed on safari can be stored in our office in Moshi.
- Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances or during the peak of high season, Kilele Climb reserves the right to use similar vehicles that may not have the same equipment found in our specialized vehicles.
What happens if the jeep breaks down?
We are so meticulous in doing a head–to–toe – evaluation and maintenance on each vehicle before it is used on every tour and after every safari. The age of the vehicles in our fleet, but most were built between 2007 and 2017. If your vehicle breaks down and cannot be fixed on the ground, we will request a rescue jeep, which will come for you so that you can continue your safari with minimum impact. Whilst every effort is made to prevent this from happening, the driving is rough, and the vehicles do take quite a pounding!
