The Lemosho route is one of the more up to date routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route starts in the west and as opposed to just converging Shira Plateau (like Machame), Lemosho crosses it from Shira Ridge to Shira Camp. Climbers experience low traffic until the route joins the Machame route. A while later, Lemosho finishes a similar route Lava Tower, Barranco and Barafu, known as the southern circuit. The base number of days required for this route is six days, albeit eight days is perfect. Lemosho is viewed as the most beautiful route on Kilimanjaro and awards all encompassing vistas on different sides of the mountain. It is our preferred route since it offers an extraordinary equalization of low traffic, beautiful perspectives and a high summit achievement rate. In this manner, Lemosho comes profoundly prescribed. We will do Pre-Trip instructions and gear check multi day prior, our guide will meet you anyplace inside an hour of Arusha/Moshi for the preparation and hardware check.
Lemosho starts from the lush, fertile rainforest. The dense green rainforest is the first ecological zone you encounter on Kilimanjaro. The route heads up across the Shira Plateau, which was Kilimanjaro’s third peak before it collapsed. Then the Lava Tower is seen before dropping into Barranco Valley, which is one of the most beautiful areas of the entire trail. After crossing the Barranco Wall, the summit attempt is made from Barafu. This is the coldest, breezy section of your entire adventure.
The weather condition on Kilimanjaro is unpredictable. Lemosho Route does not experience the extremes of winter or summer weather, but rather dry and wet seasons. The rainfall varies from 2100 mm per year in the rainforest zone to less than 120 mm per year in the summit zone. Daily temperature changes are unanticipated due to the variation of altitude.
