Ruaha to Udzungwa Mountains
After breakfast, depart Ruaha and travel by road to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. The journey passes through rural villages and scenic landscapes, offering glimpses of everyday Tanzanian life. Arrive in Udzungwa by afternoon and settle into your lodge. Known as the “Galápagos of Africa,” Udzungwa is famed for its biodiversity, with rare primates, endemic plants, and over 400 bird species. The park’s lush rainforest and towering peaks promise exciting hikes and breathtaking scenery. Dinner and overnight at your lodge, preparing for the adventure to Sanje Waterfalls the following day.

Udzungwa Hike & Return to Dar es Salaam
