Materuni water fall is one if the impressive water fall found around Kilimanjaro national park, it is one of the tallest waterfalls having 70 m height to its basin. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and is still an authentic tribal village. On a clear day views of kibo peak and Moshi town can be seen from this point. The waterfall is located at Materuni village which is found 38 km away from Moshi town, from that point there is a 30 minutes hike towards the waterfall. The waterfall is at a height of 2500 m from sea level. Materuni village is one of the villages where the Chagga people can be found. Materuni waterfall is the main attraction; however, there are other attractions such as the botanical gardens, Chagga culture, scenic view of the area, birds, and some animals such as colobus monkeys.

Day 1 – Moshi – Materuni – Moshi

After your breakfast around 8am our driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Materuni waterfalls lies about 45mins from Moshi. It is located near a coffee plantation. Enjoy an entire day tour visit with a guided hike to Materuni waterfalls along the trek appreciate the beautiful immaculate nature as you visit the 90m high Materuni waterfalls which is the most noteworthy cascade in Moshi territory burning through 30minutes swimming at the common pool

Before coming back to encounter the customary espresso preparing strategy and take part in making natural Materuni coffee and attempt some newly ground coffee in a beautiful setting and watch an exhibit of the Banana brew making process before testing the local beverage.
