Wildlife frequently visits the area, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species. During the dry season, guests may spot animals gathering at the waterhole near the lodge, sometimes visible from their rooms or the elevated viewing platform near the pool. Tarangire Simba Lodge offers 16 spacious canvas safari tents set beneath traditional thatched roofs. Built on raised platforms, each tent features wooden floors, en-suite facilities, handcrafted African hardwood furnishings, and a private veranda overlooking the bush and Lake Burunge. Twin, queen, triple, and family configurations are available. Solar power provides electricity and hot water, while an outdoor shower adds a unique wilderness experience. Lucky guests may spot wildlife directly from their veranda.
