About Kenya

Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, bordered by thick papyrus. Lake Naivasha, which signifies 'undulating water' in a local lingo, is the biggest freshwater lake along the Kenyan area of the Rift Valley. Commanded by colossal umbrella-like acacia trees that encompass the earthenware waters of the lake, quite a bit of Naivasha's shores is taken up by gigantic homesteads developing cut blooms (mostly carnations and roses) for the universal market. A great part of the lake is encompassed by woodlands of the yellow yapped Acacia Xanthophlea - the yellow fever tree. These timberlands overflow with flying creature life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding goal.
Giraffes meander among the acacia, Buffalo flounder in the bogs and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes huge hippo populace rest the outing in the shallows. The district encompassing the Lake is well worth investigating. There are two increasingly littler lakes adjacent, Oloidien, and Sonachi, a brilliant green crater lake. Hell's Gate National Park lies close to the lake. This Park was named for its pair of huge red tinged cliffs surrounding a geothermically dynamic inside of steam vents and gurgling springs. The park is home to a bounty of fields game and birdlife. Strolling is allowed, making it perfect for climbing, biking, and shake climbing.
